I have two Basset Hounds and both took the Trifexis and within minutes the female thru it up along with her meal. My male kept it down but I still saw fleas on him days later. I attempted the pills again a month later figureing I would try one more time, and AGAIN my Female thru it up. I am switching back to Frontline Plus for Fleas and Heartguard for heartworms. They say the pills are "chewable" but neither of my dogs wanted to chew them and they are BASSETS they will eat anything...EVERYTHING. Heartguard Chews are so much easier to give them. |
