I live in NM, in the country. Ticks are a constant problem, and fleas as well. I have been spending more money on the more expensive versions of the spot controls and this brand works great for the price. Bio Spot is the OTC version of Vectra 3D and again, follow the trail and they're owned by Hartz Mountain Ltd.No other company has killed more dogs and cats - period. You may remember the nightmare back in 2002 over Hartz Flea & Tick drops, thosands of dogs and cats were seizuring and dying all over the country post application. Hartz never paid a single dime is restitution. The core problem with both Bio Spot and Vectra 3D is that it's a re packaging of their standard formula which includes the notorious and lethal insecticide Permethrin.
