After an experience with 'Hartz Syndrome' (google that before you use ANY HARTZ PRODUCT, or even Sargeant's!), I found this, and it has been the biggest blessing. With vets wanting $15+ per application, and I have 8 cats, this has been a godsend! In winter, we don't need it so much, but when weather starts warming up, borax goes into the carpets, and this stuff goes on the long-haired cats first, as they have the most issues with fleas. They others get it as needed, and soon it will be needed...I do need a refill in the next month or so, and I will be ordering it HERE! I can do all my cats with some left over for $10+, instead of $15 per cat! I already had the starter kit with the glass storage vial so I was excited to learn I could get a refill for a lower price. It works wonderfully for me. I use it on my cats. The 4.0 ml tube is meant for a really big dog and all I have are small kitties, so I can get something like ten doses out of it. I'm not sure how long it lasts after it's been opened. The amber vial is supposed to extend it's shelf life I guess. I've already used it on 4 cats and there is still more than half left. The fleas just fall off. They will have to be dosed again to really eradicate the problem, but for $14 or whatever I paid, that is well worth it. Especially when you'd have to pay like 4 times that if you bought it from your vet or grocery store. |
