Bought this shampoo because we were told it is better to use on dogs treated with frontline or any other flea/tick treatment and it works very good as far as I know. When I bought this I thought I was buying flea shampoo, so it's really my fault. This is not flea shampoo. Apparently it's just designed to not take previous flea treatment off. Having said that I only gave it three stars because its rather expensive for just being regular shampoo. It also kind of stinks. I has a really strong smell, perhaps some people may like it, but I don't. For the first few days you can tell if the cat is in the room just by the smell. after about the third day it's not too bad, but my previous shampoo smelled better and left my cat's coasts softer. You can use this product 2 days after applying flea and tick prevention, and it will not break down the usefulness or harm your pet. I think the cleaniness of your pet seems to last longer with this shampoo. It cost a little more, but worth it. |
