(Misc.) This is what I would have liked to know when I purchased this item.A) The amount of DE in this product is adequate; no need to purchase an additional 25-pound box. B) Get a puffer. The design of this bottle is not conducive to puffing an entire room. The DE compacts so you end up needing to bang it between each puff. Rather than the light dusting necessary to kill bugs you get big clumps of DE. The fine dusting works, the big clumps do not. My advice to my former self: buy this amount of DE and get the small puffer. It will fit better in your hands and give you that fine dust you're after. Wear a face mask whenever you puff. Lock pets and children out of the room you're puffing. Together with time, this will kill bugs. If you are buying it for a bed bug infestation, this is a critical weapon in the fight against these suckers of your blood. |
